Finally! A fresh new look for Rainbowscraps! Decided to give the site a makeover after 3 longs months. Started doing this layout a month ago, and I finished it just tonight! Thanks to my boyfriend who did the major photoshopping!

Do you love the new layout? I do! It’s the first ever theme I designed and coded from scratch, almost. Every pixel you see was drawn by us in Photoshop, except for the brushes I used in section titles. Coding it was gruesome! And now it’s done, yay! I am overwhelmed with happiness, heehee!

Didn’t know it’s easier to create a theme from scratch than to edit an existing layout. It’s more frustrating to understand other people’s codes and tweak it, only to find out you’re not getting what you want!

The layout looks absolutely fine on Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera, please tell me if it doesn’t on your browser. In IE, it’s messed up but I don’t care since IE doesn’t support PNGs. Wait, does anyone actually still use IE?!

Oh, yeah. Got e-books of Stargirl and Love, Stargirl last week and been reading them these past few days! I first heard of the books years ago from a bookworm friend. I’m finished with Stargirl and I’m currently on Love, Stargirl.

The story revolves around Stargirl, who goes to a school after spending her previous years homeschooling. She’s being herself unlike the whole school and she does unthinkable things to make other people happy. Very cute and touching!

I suggest you read the books if you still haven’t! Just tell me if you want to have copies too! (can’t post it here for download due to copyright reasons, right?)

I don’t really have a plan for this year’s valentine and there’s an event to celebrate my school’s birthday on 14 feb night, so, i don’t think that i can celebrate v-day with my bf :/

You mentioned brushes… which part are the brushes cuz I’m looking and I can’t figure it out.

Stargirl sounds interesting, first time I’ve heard of it. I really like the cover design for it’s simpleness. Plus they just look cute in general.

  I’m using the Custom Smilies plugin, you can get it at Wordpress.org. Just search for the name. If your using Wordpress, simply upload the plugin files to your host’s server and activate it.
  
  If you’re asking bout where to get the smilies, I got them from haneesah.pixelled.com, just credit her if you use her smilies.
