My friends and I went to Puerto Galera two weeks ago. Puerto Galera is world-famous for their splendid beaches, I must say our 3 days and 2 nights stay there is well-spent!
I took the photo below: (not photoshopped, promise!)

I’m feeling lazy to type so, I’ll just spam you with photos and captions:
Day 1

On our way to Puerto, onboard a large boat. Goofing at the edge of the boat

See that crowded beach? That’s White beach and that’s not where we stayed, fortunately.
But this is where all the night life and partying happens, so eventually we went here the following night as you will see later.

This is Talipanan beach, our beach!
Love how the water is so blue and clear. There were times we have the beach to ourselves, we were the only ones swimming. Couldn’t refrain from swimming the entire afternoon. Feels so great being submerged in slightly cold water while the sun is up high!
(the reason why I’m still negrita until now, I don’t think I’ll ever get my true color back
)

We stayed at Luca’s Miramare Italian Lodging and dined at their restaurant. Our Italian and Filipino hosts are accomodating and nice!

Luca’s Cucina Italiana, their restaurant.

They have an Italian cook. I super duper love love love the food!
Loved the food so much that I even brought home their pizza for my parents. Tastes so goddamn good! Served in generous portions and food is overloaded with toppings, not to mention the price is at par with Italian restaurants in Manila. We were so hungry that we devoured the food before we could take decent pictures of it.

Me taking time to pose for a picture before nomnoming. kekeke~

In the afternoon we rented a boat, lifevests and snorkels. We went snorkeling at Coral Gardens. It was my first time to snorkel and it was so much fun! Too many beautiful corals and fishes!
Too bad we don’t have a waterproof camera and all we have is a picture on our way back to the lodging (this is the main reason why I can’t stop fudging about getting a waterproof camera on twitter, heh). We were so tired that some of us were sleeping on the way back.
Then we went drinking by the beach in the evening
Day 2

Took advantage of the natural daylight and went camwhoring by the beach in the morning

We paid a tour guide and hiked to Talipanan falls for around 30 minutes, felt like I’ve lost 10 pounds the entire time we trekked and this was it?
I was really disappointed.
When we got back to our lodging we’re supposed to go back to Manila, but we were not yet contented and ready to go home, thus we decided to stay for another day!

We went to White beach in the evening. The White beach has an active nightlife, with lots of beachside bars and restaurant. The beach is so alive with loud music and batches of performers doing firedancing side by side. The firedancers were AMAZING! Swinging those ball and chains surely require great strength, and their skin can withstand overexposure to fire and not get burnt. Just wow.

We were drinking by the beach once again
So obvious by now that we are “tomador”, we always drink in every opportunity we get.
Day 3

Our last activity here in Puerto Galera is riding the banana boat. We were toppled 3 times, God it was fun but it hurts! Went home with a bruise on my face coz on our first topple someone unintentionally kicked me in the face hahaha.

Our one and only successful jumpshot!
(not really successful, coz someone got clipped off)

Time to go home.
It was so heartbreaking. Wish I could just stay by the beach and live a simple life for the rest of my life.
This is by far the best 3 days and 2 nights I’ve ever spent.
Hope our Anawangin trip will push through this coming June!
And hopefully, I’ve already got a waterproof cam by that time.
