It was May 10 yesterday, the day we elect new leaders for our country. This was my second time to vote. I’ve never been this eager to participate in any kind of election in my entire life. To be honest, I felt both extremely excited to vote and scared of the results (you know how it is here in the Philippines, politics is a popularity contest).

It was chaos in my precint. I was already there early in the morning and got home at noon. I waited for almost 3 hours in line for my turn; But actually, It didn’t matter. I don’t want to bear regrets for the next 6 years.

One proud voter here.

(Pic taken in the evening, I love how my bf photomanipped and turned a low quality pic into a painting-like one, even if I look way too older here. Forgive the eyebags & the stressed face, I never sleep early.)

My presidential bet is far behind in the partial tally. Very heartbreaking. But at least, I did my part.

I can only say, God help the Philippines.
