Not really the first time I cooked for him. We’ve done some dishes together numerous times before but the ref cake and spaghetti are our favorites and it’s been a long time since we last had these. Yay for happy tummies!

Tomorrow, we’ll go see Inception after I get off work and try out Taco Bell to celebrate his birthday! I already got him his present yesterday and I can’t wait to give it to him. Hope he’ll like it!

American TV series marathon and a pint of ice cream on weekends. I even dozed off on the couch with the DVD left playing every night for the entire week. Can you guess what I was watching at that time?

It’s Prison Break and I’m head over heels in love with this TV series. Why the hell did it take me years before I finally paid attention to this series? I thought I wouldn’t like it, but it proved me wrong, it even surpassed my standards for TV entertainment. I just finished watching all four seasons. I’ve come to the end and it’s making me real sad.  If you haven’t seen it yet, I insist you watch it. It’s awesomesauce! Not to mention GORGEOUS main characters. See for yourself!

I was surprised when a supporting character mentioned Manila in one episode. Something about “an agent dying in a bombing in Manila”. I don’t know if I should be thrilled that a city from a small country like the Philippines and exactly where I live was mentioned in my favorite TV series, or be disturbed by finding “bombing” and “Manila” in the same sentence.

Really, do people from other countries see Philippines as a dangerous country to be in?  Bombings do happen, but in my 23 years of life I never got caught in one or else i won’t be blogging right now. Neither do my parents, nor any of my close relatives. I’d never want to leave the country, we have nice tourist spots, good food and super friendly people! We’d even have a shot at winning Ms. Friendship if only countries were pageant contestants.

Anyway, I’m looking for new TV series to watch! Preferably a mix of action, adventure and suspense, can be supernatural or awesome crime drama. Can you recommend me your favorites or anything good, please?

I’ve been wanting to have one since God knows when. But it’s too damn expensive for me. 3,000PHP or $65+. I could get almost 2 pairs of decent shoes for that much.

I was lusting for a plain black, but I fell in love with the jacket above the moment I saw one exactly like it at the mall. The photo doesn’t give it justice, it’s WAY prettier in actual.

Heck, I keep on coming back and checking it out a bazillion times. Still thinking whether it’s worth getting. For all I know, there’s only one piece of it hanging on their rack. So if I decide to get it, I hope it’s still there.

Oh God, I so hate this feeling… wanting something so bad, and not getting it. Heartbreaking.

I prolly should lessen my trips to the mall, so i won’t see much stuff I’d probably like and become less materialistic.

In as much as I want to wear it, I can’t. Does not suit my everyday “porma”, which is more on the sporty and comfortable side.

Probably I should start dressing up like a real girl. I’m just too shy and don’t want to get teased by my friends, coz I’ve been known to dress simple/boyish my entire life (minus my childhood days wherein parents made me wore lacy, puffy dresses).

I’m thinking of selling this piece away. Or not. I might keep it for myself. I got it for only 150php (a little over $3). Very cheap, noh? I could get you one if you want, just let me know.

I want a vintage robot/crown necklace next!

Which is a good thing in my case. I’m underweight by 10 pounds. Was underweight. My weight still fluctuates form underweight to borderline normal weight. But one thing’s for sure, I did gain volume/get fat. How I wish it was easy to gain weight! Turns out it’s as hard as losing weight. Everyday I eat as much as my male/chubby officemates, only to come out with not much progress.

I don’t really shop for my clothes coz my mom and aunts used to buy them for me. But when we were at the mall and I saw the huge ‘SALE’ signs at Cinderella, thought I’d get myself some new pants! Who doesn’t love bargains?

A denim jean and curdoroy pants I’ve been wanting to have for a some time now  , both boot-cut, got each for around 350-400 PHP ($7-8) only! I think I’ve given up on skinny jeans, everytime I wear one I remember getting squished in a moshpit, yes, like that, except it’s just my legs this time.

The little tube you see in the pic is Avon Naturals Whitening Anti-marks Cream with Licorice Extract. Back in HS I used an Avon blemish remover and boy was it effective! When we passed by a stall full of Avon prods, I thought to give this one a try as I currently have a lot of pimple scars, maybe due to indulging on greasy foods and always sleeping late.

Only 69PHP (a littler over $1) for 25g. Hoping to get good results from this! *fingers crossed*

Last June 14, 2010 at 8pm was U-Kiss first concert, held in Araneta Coliseum. The organizers announced that they will be giving away limited freebies on first come-first served basis, that are official t-shirts and light bracelets for Upperbox A (where we are seated). So my bf and I got to the concert venue at around 7:30am and had to wait for more than 12 friggin hours for the concert, only to find out there were no freebies to be given away.  Well, it was okay since I made friends from VIP, Lowerbox and Upperbox seats whom Rocketboxx (largest U-Kiss online fan community) reported the night before to be spending the night in Araneta! And yeah, turns out the rumor about the bad ticket sales was true - dome wasn’t even filled up, especially the Upperbox seats, so I stopped minding the non-existent freebies.

At around 6:30pm they started letting people in as it started raining outside as well.

Fans started filling in the seats. Forgive the face, I look too tired, I had only 2 hours of sleep and I’m stressed almost every friggin day.  At around 8pm, the patron and gen ad seats were all filled up, but there were lots of vacant Upperbox seats, very heartbreaking to see.  I blame the fact that school has just started, kids had to go to school the following day and the recent enrollment (and Super Show 2?) left most Filipino K-pop fans penniless.  But the fact that the concert pushed through and that all performances were awesome, I must say it was a successful concert.

Anyway, will let you know first that my biases are Kevin, Kibum and Dongho. But I love all of them, really! I just love these three more, heh.

The concert started with an opening performance by girl fans dancing to “Bingeul Bingeul” and “Mworago”, they were chosen through an audition held a few weeks ago. Then, U-Kiss entered the stage, crowd went wild and that’s where all the real screaming began.  As for their intro, they did “Man Man Hani”. There were smokes that oozed upward on stage on every “Hey!”, it was nifty, wish there was pyro too just like those performances in Korea that we see on YouTube. Next performances were “Talk To Me” and then my favorite “Bingeul Bingeul”.  I learned the fanchant by heart but I was too starstruck that I just sang along whenever I feel like it, haha!

They performed “I Like You” and “Not Young” as well, they were all too cute on stage.  In between some performances they had short chit chats with the audience. One of the things I love about U-Kiss is that at least 3 of the members, Kevin, Xander and Eli, can speak English fluently!  Dongho spoke a bit of English and it was good! And I also remember him dancing to “Oh!”, he’s making noona love him even more!

And then It was time for solo performances. Kevin perfomed “Finally” all by himself. Kevin has such a sweet voice!  He then sang “Say Goodbye” by Chris Brown and he had a girl dancing sexily with him on stage! I don’t really mind, I dunno about the other fans hahaha!

On Soohyun’s solo he sang “Because of You” songs - one by Keith Martin and the other by Ne-Yo. I am still amazed at how good a singer he is and how he sang those two English songs pretty well. He thinks he’s less attractive than the other members but I disagree, he’s equally likable as the others. And Dongho, did rap on the intro of Soohyun’s performance!  Maaan, he was really good! In the next album they should give him more parts and make him rap!

Kibum, Eli and Kiseop played around the stage dressed in animal pajamas with “Stupid Cupid” playing in the background!  Haha it was too cute and random, then all of a sudden they shifted from cutesy to sexy by performing Justin Timberlake’s “Sexyback”. Gahd, Kibum and Kiseop stripped off their undershirts!  Lo and behold, their perfect chocolate abs flashed before our very eyes!  Couldn’t really see their faces on plain sight, but their well-crafted abs I could clearly see from afar. I almost died!

Xander performed Blacked Eyed Peas songs, namely “Pump It” and “Bebot”. Believe me, Xander makes a great Filipino! He pronounced the Tagalog lyrics in “Bebot” so well! It was amazing. One of the best performances that night! In case you don’t know yet, he also revealed that he may have Filipino blood as his great grandfather was a Spaniard from the Philippines! Oh yeah, how’s that?

Another highlight of the concert was when the boys danced to Korean girl-band songs such as “Abracadabra”, “Nobody” and “Gee”. Can’t help but squeal and giggle, it was too gay! Especially Kevin, he makes a good rival of Jo Kwon really! I really enjoyed these numbers as I used to be LSS-ed to “Abracadabra” and “Gee”!

It was my first time to see the boys dance to their single “Give It To Me”. Second to their supposedly last performance was “Mworago”. For the supposedly concert finale performance they perfomed Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road”, in which Kevin cried with Dongho who hugged him. Seeing my biases like that, made me tear up too. They were tears of joy for the boys, I know how special that day was for them and how hard they worked for it (including many sleepless nights). It was like witnessing your most favorite group’s dream come true, as a huge fan how can I not be moved?

By that time I thought the concert was over, or maybe they were just teasing us, but they came back and performed “OK!” and “Without You”.  First time seeing performances for those songs as well. They danced around the stage, it was a bit chaotic but who cares, right? As long as I can see my favorite boy group enjoying themselves on stage, and the fact that they have more performances for us!

Before the concert ended for real, they performed “Man Man Hani” and “Bingeul Bingeul” once again! These boys should win an epitome of fanservice award if ever there is one! They never failed to make us fans feel very special and loved.  Genuine love it is. I’ve never witnessed any other group who went as far as what they did in the concert and mall shows for their fans.

To sum it all up, it was one of the best nights of my life.  Best concert I’ve ever been to as well. The concert was overwhelmingly awesome. I’ve never seen myself gone as gaga as this over some group. It was such an honor for the Philippines to have U-Kiss’ first concert here, and I’m proud and glad that I was part of it. I’m proud and happy for U-KISS!

I’d like to thank my bf for winning us Upperbox A tickets and accompanying me to my crazy endeavors! You really are a cool guy And I really appreciate Triple S Philippines for coming, I noticed a lot of them came to support U-Kiss even though Kim Hyung Joon failed to come. And to Uncle A, Xander’s dad, who’s always been supportive of the boys by spreading U-Kiss love on Twitter, I love you Uncle A and thank you so much!

I wish there’d be a second concert~ we Kiss Mes shall show more love and support for the boys the next time!

Well, the postponement brought me luck. My bf and I won Upperbox A tickets from MYX last Thursday!

Upperbox A tickets costs around 4,200PHP, we can’t afford it obviously since our original tickets are Gen Ad which is just around 1,000PHP. Yeah, so thank you very much MYX!!  I can now watch my most favorite Korean boy band from a much better and closer view!

I didn’t win in the fanmeeting raffle. Guess I can’t be too greedy, heh. The fanmeeting this afternoon lasted for only 20 minutes instead of the promised 1 hour. I must admit, somehow it made me feel less bad for not getting picked.

Also had the time to buy a digicam especially for the concert! Finally got my own digicam. I got a pink Samsung ES65 10MP digicam. Got it at a cheap price from Kimstore! Ms. Kim is really accomodating, so if you wanna buy gadgets at low prices I suggest you check out her online shop first!

So I’ll be going early to Araneta Coliseum, U-Kiss’ concert venue, to avail the limited freebies, I got only 2 hours left for sleep!  It’s gonna be a long and tiring day! So stoked for the concert later, I feel like I could cry when I see them enter the stage. No kidding.

I just found out not all hope is lost, that there are solutions to this kind of problem, if only one chooses just the right kind of debt consolidation. You know, the kind that doesn’t put you in debt more. I also learned that there are counseling and tools available online. All for free, can you imagine?

Isn’t it one of the nicest things to have on the internet? I’m sure it’s gonna help a lot of people. I just hope everyone knows about it, that these free support exist in the www.

It’s fine to play gambling games with money involved as long as you have control of yourself. If you keep on losing you should know when to stop, or else you’ll go home emptyhanded. If you win, be contented with what you already have, as playing more not only increases your chance of winning but also increases your chance of losing, thus putting to waste what you already have won. I know, easy to say, hard to put into actions.

Bottomline is, If you think you’re the type who would go as far as selling every property you own to feed your would-be addiction to it, you might want to give gambling a second thought. If not, then go, have some fun.

I’m not filthy rich & I’m convinced I’m never lucky with games, maybe I should start considering it as a good thing in this case.

Today’s May 29, I should be at Araneta Coliseum, but I’m at home blogging about their concert being postponed, four days before the concert itself. Concert is now moved to June 14th, a Monday and a Holiday, so it won’t conflict with school. It means two more weeks of waiting; on a lighter note, two more weeks of practice and rest for the boys. Better stage performance I guess?

I am sad and disappointed, but after learning that Hyung Joon from SS501, U-Kiss Kibum’s brother, would be the guest for their concert, I now look forward to the concert even more. It’s gonna be worth the wait~
