…and it’s called work.

Everyone at work are all nice, welcoming and wacky. I’ve only been to work for a little over a week and I already feel comfortable being with them, even if I’m the only girl (programmer) at work. I wish it would stay like this even when things at work get hectic.

Anyway, I applied as programmer but my boss first gave me web design tasks. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely fine with me, just not what I expected. I guess I can say the web designing sideline I’ve had these past few months really helped me get this job, eh?

I’m still busy as of the moment, having tons to study. Each of us got a notebook pc so we could continue the work at home even on weekends and holidays. It’s a little tiring, traveling to and from work for 4 hours, going home late and still thinking about work when I get home… but believe me, I’m totally happy and contented.

EDIT: Have you heard of the hit game Plants vs Zombies? I’ve been playing it and I’m addicted to it for weeks now. You should check it out if you like strategy games!

I finally got myself a new job! I no longer have to worry about my technical skills rusting since I’ll be working as a programmer once again starting this Monday. Work will be tough, but hey, I’ll do my best to be successful in this field. My brother just got himself a new job too!  I can’t express how grateful and happy I am right now.

I’ll be needing lotsa time to learn new stuff for work, so site revamp will have to wait.  And the reopening of my services is moved to August or probably later, we’ll see. It depends on whether I can fit the web design mini-business into my weekends which are my only rest days. I deeply apologize to those whose orders were cancelled and are still waiting for my return.

My boyfriend’s birthday is tomorrow!  I guess I’ll just give him a late birthday gift since I’m really out of money right now, glad he understands. He’s really a nice guy.  We’ll be out on a date, I just hope tomorrow will be so much fun!

Just keeping you updated, I’ve been MIA these past weeks. I still haven’t returned all your comments, I hope you understand. I’ll be returning them eventually, from time to time. I’ll try to update even when I’m busy. Til then!
