It is only recently that I have heard of a project entitled Pop-Up Pianos by a non-profit organization called Sing For Hope. Sing For Hope encourages professionals and the youth to donate time and talent. You can also donate money to support their programs.

Anyway, Pop-Up Pianos goal is to give people access to arts through setting up street pianos. There were 88 pianos scattered all over New York that have been painted by a Sing For Hope volunteer artist. Throughout the project there were also performances from broadway stars, local songwriters and ballerinas.

The project ended last July 2. Fret not, because you can bring it back if you donate. Do head over to their website and support their cause.

I have recently read about numerous stories about some male celebrity proposing to a female celebrity, giving her expensive rings and other lavish stuff he can afford. Next thing you know the latter rejects the proposal but does not return the ring, and the guy says the lady can keep it. Whether the lady has been told to keep it or not, I can not blame the lady if she does not return it especially if it is like one of those pretty princess cut bridal sets you can find on the internet. Ah, celebrities these days. Guys should keep in mind that a girl’s heart can not be bought with material things and gifts (alone).

Speaking of gifts, my boyfriend is having his 24th birthday next Tuesday! I still have not gotten him a gift. I must admit, it is so damn hard to think of the perfect gift for guys. In his past I have given him cake, chocolates, a bag, a watch and some other things I already forgot (oh God I am such a bad girlfriend!). Anyway, do you guys have any suggestions for me?
