First of all, happy new year guys!
Hope you all had a merry Christmas and an awesome new year’s eve party. As for me, I had a great time. It was the first time in many years I’ve spent Christmas and new year with my family complete, with addition of some relatives, I could even cry. “The more the merrier” was totally true in our case. I couldn’t really express how happy I am. This was so far the best holiday season I’ve had in a decade.

For my first post for the year 2011, I was able to come up with some resolutions in the past few days and I’d like to share it with you:
- Going to bed before 12MN. I’ve had this resolution for the past couple of years but never managed to be successful with this.
- Don’t be late for work. I’ve been late for work almost every day for the past months. I’d like to change this habit so I could go home early.
- Morning banana diet. Eat only til 3/4 full. No binge eating except on occasions.
- Be nicer to anyone. More patience, since I lack that aspect the most. And lessen my bullying of friends. Haha.
- Save at least 6,000php 9,000php monthly. I’ve been working for one year and a half and I’ve still got no savings. And I have no freaking idea where all the money went. Well, probably it all went to my tummy and to supporting the family. This amount is so gonna be challenging!
That’s all I can think of as of now, I might add more to the list in the future.
To be honest, I wasn’t able to abide by the first two resolutions for the first 3 days of 2011, but doesn’t matter. Breaking a resolution doesn’t mean I can’t continue. Most people use broken resolution as an excuse to stop trying whatever it is that they want to achieve. One can make resolutions any time of the year, and observe it as long as he/she has the will. As the Tagalog saying goes, “kung gusto may paraan, kung ayaw maraming dahilan“.
Hope you guys will have a pleasant 2011!
