I don’t know if you’ve noticed this as well, that so much has been going on this summer. Here’s a brief rundown in case you’ve been living under a rock:

• Local newscaster Ted Failon was suspected of shooting his wife. Recently it was confirmed that his wife committed suicide.
• Deadly swine flu or A(H1N1) outbreaks from different parts of the world.
• Philippines’ Manny Pacquiao won the light welterweight title in boxing against Britain’s Hatton.
• Sex scandals of local celebrity Hayden Kho and some female celebrities, including Katrina Halili, circulating on the Internet. (much like a local version of Paris Hilton scandal, except the ladies didn’t know they’re being filmed)
• First case of A(H1N1) in the Philippines, a 10-yo girl, was confirmed a few days ago.

And now,  second case of A(H1N1) is confirmed on a 50-yo woman.  EDIT: After reading some early comments from my readers from the other side of the world, I decided to take off the negativity of this entry. Just take care, everyone. But I have to admit I’m still scared, especially that the first case of a(h1n1) here in the Philippines is rumored to hail from our area.

One of the happiest things that ever happened in my life is finishing school last year. It meant goodbye to problems dealing with college research or term papers, one of the most challenging tasks a student would ever encounter and must surpass.

When I was in high school I never had problems coming up with papers required by my subjects. But when I attended college, that’s when I realized that research papers weren’t easy to do. Requirements became much more harder to meet and professors have soaring expectations than teachers. I’ve never looked at writing term papers more seriously than ever.

Working on a paper becomes much harder due to different reasons. When the paper is nearly due, we feel more pressured and as a result some people tend to become less productive. We also worry about the quality of the paper by thinking which among the different research paper writing styles is best to use. Oftentimes, we’ve been doing our best and yet it’s still not enough to guarantee us a passing grade.

Nevertheless, no matter how hard it is to come up with research papers, we still have to give it a try and do our best. Start working on the paper early and don’t wait for the deadline. Come up with an outline and allot some time to work on the paper every day.
