I haven’t mentioned yet that I won 2 Upperbox A tickets and 2cds/1dvd from MYX Promo last Thursday! 
I’ve joined lots of MYX Promos in the past and this is my first time to win! 
Here are the prizes which I claimed last Friday:
Well these cds/dvd will go to my online buddy Angeli! We don’t have cable tv, she has, so she watched and provided me the keyword that was flashed on the show. Will ship this within the week to her place! 
Our 2 Upperbox tickets, torn after we got inside the concert venue which is in Araneta Coliseum. Each ticket cost 2,800 PHP, something I couldn’t afford, well can actually afford but can’t bear spending that much money for a 3-hour only event.
So first of all, thank you MYX coz without you I wouldn’t have been able to see one of my favorite K-Pop girl groups ever! 
That’s me and my boyfriend at the concert yesterday, June 04, 2011. Cool guy. Loves Metallica but listens to K-pop too, he’s a huge SNSD fanboy heh.
Many people came! Didn’t actually expect THIS much. Concert lasted for two and a half hours, from 7:30pm-10pm. As usual, concert started late as it was supposed to start at 7pm.
The host for the concert was Giselle Sanchez and she was very funny! Front acts, in order, were Techy Romantics, Christian Bautista, The Bloomfields, Callalily and Philippine All Stars. And boy, they performed for a total of one and a half hours (which is 3/5 of the entire duration of concert). Now I know why rumors about 2NE1 being the front-act surfaced.
And then, 2NE1’s turn to perform finally came. 2NE1 emerged on the stage altogether. It was classic, just like what you see in Korean music shows, only I get to see it with my bare eyes and not in Youtube. It was so surreal I felt like crying hahahaha (just like how I felt during U-Kiss concert last year). I never thought I’d be able to see them in person, thought it was an impossible dream, but it happened.
They performed 8 songs: Fire, Please Don’t Go, Go Away, Lonely, In or Out, Can’t Nobody, Clap Your Hands and I Don’t Care. I’d be honest it was bitin. After they performed I Don’t Care, many people stayed on their seats asking for more. But after 15 minutes of nothing, we finally gave up and told ourselves show’s really over. 
My comments about the girls: Minzy made the stage her own! That’s my girl. 
CL was awesome and badass as ever. Dara was so kulit and adorable, her Tagalog is really funny! And Bom, pretty-looking as always. They were so goddamn awesome live! If you’re a fan and you didn’t come, I’m sorry to say but you missed out a lot. 
By the way, there were fireworks, bubbles and smoke to add effect to the girls’ performance, just like in Korean music shows. The stage was gorgeous. Though the girls looked pressed for time (there wasn’t even a single change in outfit and their total performance lasted only for an hour) and you can’t really consider it as a totally “2NE1 concert”, nevertheless, I enjoyed the entire show. 
I can’t wait for 2NE1 to be back and have a full concert here in the Philippines. Til then, 2NE1!
P.S. Took videos but can’t upload them to my Youtube account, coz the audio is basag, it was really loud in the section we were in. And my Sony digicam sucks. 
I must admit the feeling I had that night has already worn off by now, but I’ll try my best to recall everything from the concert and tell you what happened in the most giddiest way I can! 
Well, it was okay since I made friends from VIP, Lowerbox and Upperbox seats whom Rocketboxx (largest U-Kiss online fan community) reported the night before to be spending the night in Araneta! 
And yeah, turns out the rumor about the bad ticket sales was true - dome wasn’t even filled up, especially the Upperbox seats, so I stopped minding the non-existent freebies.
