Went to Divisoria this afternoon with my parents. It’s been a year since my last visit. Once more, I am so in love with the place! We were able to buy a lot of stuff but spent only about 2,000php (around $45). On regular days the place is really crowded, good thing most people are spending their Holy Week vacation somewhere else.  Less crowd, more enjoyable shopping experience.

Here are the stuff that I bought: a bright-colored polo shirt, gray skinny jeans, a semi-striped tee from Jewels (which I got at a cheaper price as compared to mall price) and a brown, polka-heart ruffled umbrella. I also bought 3 pairs of undergarments, so imagine how much stuff I got for only 1,200php (roughly $28).

My favorite buy would be the umbrella. Here’s how it looks like:

So girly, heh. Aside from the umbrella being pretty, it is a steal. Who gets a wide, sturdy and automatic umbrella for only 250php? Good thing I found this first, as I was planning on getting a new one from Fibrella.

I have an amazing self-control. There were a lot of good stuff but I managed to get what I only need. I’m definitely going back, but not until I come up with another need-to-buy list. :)

Souvenirs From Singapore

My brother and his gf just got home from a 4-day vacation in Singapore. Here are some of the souvenirs they brought home:

A purple shirt for me. I originally asked for a similar shirt, only with the double-meaning phrase “Singapore is a FINE city” but there was none available, so this will do… even if there are a lot of spelling errors. Pricey at $12. Imma wear it tomorrow!

I wonder how this mochi rice cakes taste like. I think I’ve eaten this before but I really can’t remember the taste…

Chocolate gold bars, brother said it’s cheap… but I don’t mind as long as it’s Swiss!

Assorted Asian snacks. Never liked them. They’re either nutty or awful.

A bag of KedaiKuekue authentic Indonesian delicacies. In case you’re wondering what’s in the box:

I don’t know what the cake is called coz it’s not written in the package, but brother said it’s one of their best sellers. It smells like banana cake, yummy~

Pistachio cookies! I bet it’s yummy! I love pistachios and cookies!

Almond sugee. Looks tempting! Some say it tastes divine. I CAN’T WAIT.

Lastly, their (new) $2 bill, part of my brother’s leftover money. This one I’m keeping, and the rest, he’s gonna have them converted back.

Singaporean bills are shorter in length (compared to Philippine bills), shiny and seems to be made more of plastic than paper, with some parts transparent like the dark spots you see in the top left and bottom right. Coolio, at least it wouldn’t tear up easily~
