… when Paramore rocked Manila. :heart: They made March 9, 2010 truly a date to remember.

I thought I could let it pass. But when I tried to imagine myself at home while other people are having a blast watching them on stage, I felt depressed. it was too heartbreaking for me to bear. :cry:

It’s Paramore’s first concert in the Philippines after all. Took them 5 years since their debut before they were finally able to hold a concert here. What the hell was I thinking, to even consider letting it pass? :angry:

I finally convinced myself and decided to go the day before the concert itself. Thanks to my bf who accompanied me although he’s not a big fan of the band. :heart:

The band performed 14 songs from their 3 albums. The concert lasted no longer than an hour and a half. Nevertheless, it was an amazing night. :clap: To hear them perform live is already a privilege, and I feel luckier to be even situated somewhere where I can somehow decently see Hayley during the entire performance (as opposed to seeing Hayley as tiny as a dot probably from the bronze section or get my view blocked by everyone in front). I’m so glad I changed my mind and did come. :laugh:

The ecstatic feeling that night still hasn’t worn off yet. :dance: I feel like I can watch the MV of The Only Exception and sing along over and over again all day and not get sick of it:

I’m keeping my hopes high about them fulfilling their promise to return to Manila within 5 years. Imma start saving up and secure myself a ticket providing a better view of the band next time. Paramore, I’ll be waiting for your come back! :heart:

Divisoria Loots

My parents came home last week to spend a two-week (or rather, a month-long after I reschedule their flight back) vacation here, and this weekend we went on a 2-day shopping spree at the ever famous place when it comes to buying cheap stuff: Divisoria.

I can’t totally remember how DV looks like since I was still a kid the first time we went there and had nothing that I wanted to buy back then. Now, It’s still a very busy and jam-packed place and I scoured the place with eagerness this time as a materialistic grown-up girl, lol. :laugh: And yeah, it was the first time I stepped foot at 168 Mall. ^^;

Too bad I can’t take pictures of the place since it was best not to bring any gadget or expensive stuff with you as pickpockets/snatchers are everywhere. :suspicious: So I took pictures of the loots I got from DV instead:

It’s 3 polo shirts which costs 180-200 PHP each, a white sling bag/handbag that costs 150 PHP. Also, not in the pic, is a pretty, shiny silver ponytail holder which I got for only 30 PHP. Very cheap huh? These are all I got for myself, the rest are for my parents. :boogie:

Guess what, I never thought that I’d see there stuff being sold at SM Department stores. Next time I should check out if DV has it before SM. XD

Can’t wait for our next Divisoria visit! :heart:

Have you been to DV before? :)
