One thing that I miss doing is blogging and bloghopping. For the past few months since I started with my second desk job I’ve been neglecting this site too much. It wasn’t intentional, I just didn’t have spare time to update and visit other sites. I’ve actually planned on being active again this Christmas break but I don’t think it’s gonna happen, now that I find the Christmas break too short that I’d rather spend it with the family, boyfriend and friends than in front of the laptop.

Another thing I miss the most, is what made me get into blogging, which is web designing. I’ve been using the same layout for nearly a year. If my site has a mind of it’s own and could speak for itself, it would have demanded a new layout from me months ago. And gah, my photoshop and web designing skills are rusting. I want a new and professional web design.

Some active bloggers who are into SEO, consultancy and blogging paid posts have actually urged me to do the same. That way, I am my own boss, I manage my own time and I get to earn money and enjoy blogging and web designing at the same time. But I value the experience I could get with desk jobs, thank you very much.

Before I end this entry, I wish you all a merry Christmas! :D Finally I got the silver lightning bolt studs I mentioned on My Birthday Wishlist during our Christmas party, and Pax also gave me silver crown studs as his late birthday gift. I guess my Christmas will be as merry as last year since I’m spending this year’s Christmas with him again! :D

Kid at Heart Still

I turned 23 year old yesterday. I’m an adult yet I believe I still have the heart of a kid. lol. Anyway, I’m thankful to both my real life and online friends who never failed to greet me online or spared a peso to greet me through text on my very day. Simple deed, but the fact that these people whom I don’t regularly see, didn’t forget my birthday… it makes my heart burst with joy. And to Pax, who celebrated the whole day with me. My birthday couldn’t have been as enjoyable as it was without him.

It was just a simple celebration yet I could say, the birthday I enjoyed the most. As a pre-celebration Pax and I dined at World Chicken and Greenwich the night before and I got a box of my favorite Cello’s doughnuts as his birthday gift.  On the day itself, first half of the day was spent at home cooking and eating cake & spaghetti. Every Christmas season, the only time of the day I would want to be out is during the night, so that I could feel the lovely cold night breeze… so Pax & I decided to just go out on a movie date in the evening. We enjoyed the Avatar movie with toffee nut frappe. When I got home, my older brother and his gf surprised me with a black forest ice cream cake. ^_^

As simple as that, but I’ve never enjoyed a day this much in the past 11 months. :)
