I’m sure by now you all know about how addicted I am to tiny, cute charms. I even researched how to make them, and I was able to make a few… to satiate my desire for trinkets and show my creativity at the same time. :D

Well, it wasn’t really easy to make my own charms. The materials needed are hard to find and unavailable most of the time. And then you have to go through the painstaking sculpting, baking and painting. Too much hassle, eh?

As I was browsing an online shop, I was so amazed by an item for sale that I had to share about it:

I’m talking about Decotti by Takara Tomy! It allows you to create and design your own pastry charm! You may choose from a tart, cupcake, doughnut or macaroon kit. This is actually one of the niftiest thing I’ve ever heard!

Market price is $35 per kit, a little pricey but saves you the hassle! :D

Btw, this domain is now more than 3 months old. Hello, SPs! I just hope I’d still get assignments even with a PR 1. XD

Questions:

  1. Would you love to create your own pastry charm? :D
  2. How’s your new year so far? :)

First off, I am now done with my paper origami stars! Finished crafting them in two days, see the image on the left below. Now all I need is a star-shaped glass jar like the one on the right! :) do you happen to know where I can buy one? Do tell! Thanks! ;)

If you wanna know how to make paper origami stars, watch this. Just an advice, don’t make plenty of stars in one day or your fingers will hurt. :)

Moving on to the main topic of this entry, I’ve been addicted to the game Yummy Drink Factory these past few days. (Finished it in just one sitting) It’s somehow similar to Diner Dash but instead of being Flo the restaurant waitress, you operate a drinks stall. :) You prepare the drinks in an orderly manner, just like how you would serve the dishes efficiently in Diner Dash. You better be fast or your customers will walk out on you! :P It’s super fun, plus it’s challenging since you must memorize 38 drink recipes! XD

Not to mention, the GUI (Graphical User Interface) is super cute! ^_^ The items and characters were drawn by Claire Belton aka Queen of Dorks. You’ve already heard the name, right? If not, I’m sure you’ve at least seen her artworks all over the internet, thanks to the shameless rippers. :suspicious: She’s also the one who handcrafted the red bunny hat I’m wearing on my avatar below!

If you’re bored, you might as well try it out! You can download the game from her online shop. :boogie:

Questions:

  1. Have you tried making paper origami stars? :)
  2. What was the last computer game you played? :D
